I could still do well over 100 posts and would not be represented on the Hive with one post per day despite daily online time...

On the other hand, I have written over 8000 comments in the same time.

The wage of the posting is more than the wage of the comments, which obviously were more "work"...

Think about whether the HIVE system is balanced...

Ich könnte noch weit über 100 Posts machen und währe trotz täglicher Onlinezeit nicht mit einem Post pro Tag auf dem Hive vertreten...

Dagegen steht, das ich in der gleichen Zeit über 8000 Kommentare geschrieben habe.

Der Lohn von den Posting beträgt weit mehr, als die der Kommentare, welche offensichtlich auch mehr "Arbeit" waren...

Denkt darüber nach, ob das HIVE-System ausgeglichen ist...

Another thought, comments provide a different payback as compared to just the reward payouts.

Those who leave a ton of valid, quality comments, tend to gain followers, especially from some heavy hitters. This is how one can help to establish him or herself on the Hive ecosystem.

The idea take on even a more powerful meaning when we look at one's standing within the tribes.

I have been working towards exactly this aspect. This "gap" in the system "exploited".

I am very glad that you are of the same opinion and would like to follow you. :-)

Nevertheless, we should make sure that the balance becomes a little more balanced.

The "indirect" payment for comments, I have probably enjoyed until today. My account looks quite serious and I am looking for like-minded people who are not afraid to try out changes to the system and increase the value of the hive.

That is true although comments on LEO do often get upvoted and rewarded, at least in LEO.

But you are correct, the way the distribution payout is after the latest hard fork (in September) made upvoting comments not really profitable for the larger accounts.

It is sad but it is how things are. The layer 2 tokens can offer a nice payout in comment upvoting though.

The @commentcoin projekt is a try to solve this situation. Hope for us we will do it! Becouse the lacks of the Hive system destroy itself with the time. Without changes, it is a time bomb for me. A sad ones, becouse the potential is enorm.

I disagree completely @alucian. Blogging is only a part of the Hive system at this point. We are seeing many other options developing in the areas of gaming, NFTs, and investing/trading to just name a few. It is not uncommon to find people making more money from other pursuits on Hive than they are just from their payouts out of the reward pool.

Plus, there are a couple projects being worked upon that are designed to integrate with the mainstream social media and offer tipping and other ways of rewarding people. Obviously I dont know the details of how it all works but it is exciting nonetheless.

For sure you are right!

I don't want to deny that blogging is only a part of the whole system, I just want to point out that there is a big imbalance and that we should change it now, so that in a possible upcoming bull market not so many people "jump off". At least no more writers and readers.

Of course the other areas are very important to be supported! But I know less about them and leave that to the specialists of the respective interests.
