I agree with you. I think the new web, or 3.0 as you say, is an endless well of resource. In our information age, the one with access to information has the most leverage.
I think that "Blockstack" is doing a very interesting proposal on what is a framework for the new internet. Privacy, full asset ownership (fully owning a Domain name), and value transfer is crucial for the new internet protocols.
Are you think of a specific project, when you say Web 3.0?

Not at all. Web 3.0 is much bigger than people thing. Not only is it not one specific project, it is the combining of many different technologies such as blockchain, cryptocurrency, AI, 3D scanning/printing, mesh and edge computing and synthetic biology.

It is the convergence of our digital, physical, and biological worlds. This is moving the web from 2D to 3D. We are going to see a digital layers over our entire physical world.

Are you familiar with goTenna or TxTenna?? I see this as under utilized tech, that will shine in the near future. Still learning every day, but wireless mesh networking will become big. Likely, to be part of Web 3.0.
