In your face baby! I am putting ListNerds in your face.

Seriously though, my title. On-Boarding people to ListNerds.

After reading @thisismylife post yesterday about unstaking (man that feels like a four letter word) ListNerds I had a long thought process. I had over four hours of driving to go get and bring home my mother-in-law. It gave me a lot of time to think and contemplate.

Two things came to mind. First was how do I refer more people to ListNerds, second was how do I convince more people to upgrade, third was is it time to see if I can keep building and get some finances out of ListNerds.

It all came together in my brain as one item.

I decided to start my unstaking process. I have set a rule for myself. Max of 75 Nerds a day or 50 percent of my daily earnings. What ever is less. Today I earned well over 400 Nerds. Yes you read that right. Over 400 nerds in one day. Holly Crap.

This is a 70 day process before I see my first liquid Nerd. Thus I am doing it day. At day 71 I will have liquid Nerds. What a Birthday gift that will be.

Back to why I am doing this. I am putting Fiat into ListNerds every month for my Enterprise upgrade. I got no problem with that. But at some point it is time to earn money.

In the past I had to unstake Hive to make end meet in the real world. With ListNerds it is different. I am still growing my account while unstaking.

Why else do I think this is important. As I stated above for getting people to join. I have had question about it. I am going to show people how you can earn real world money, how well you can earn, how you can get it in your pocket. I am going to update you day by day.

Once people see the power, the power my earnings, I believe they will be more willing to join, more willing to upgrade.

Join me, watch me, in this most wonderful, fantastic, positive journey I am undertaking on ListNerds.

I know some people may be upset that I am not HODLing every single Nerd. But we are all on the blockchain to better ourselves. And financially is one thing that betters a families life.

And if what I am doing can show people the power of earning, real world earning. Besides Valuation. Then I 100 percent believe that more people, and not just with me, but more people in general will join ListNerds. More people will upgrade on the ListNerds. It is a win win situation.

So this is day 2 of 70 while I wait for liquid Nerds. How am I on the rich list.

Still firmly in 5th place.

Now is the best time to join ListNerds with me. The best time to upgrade.

Wow, Bradley, look at you getting controversy fired up. I agree with your approach and I think that may be because we are close in age and understand that you need to be able to have income in addition to investment. It will be cool to watch you and @thisismylife begin to liquidate some of your #ListNerds.

I don't think anyone will ever be disappointed in you for taking profits.
I'm doing it too.
I started after a few weeks of being at Listnerds, and upped a little every week or so.
I'm unstaking a little every day and decide how much right that time. I'm not keeping track of how much every day, so it'll be a nice surprise when it comes hehe.
Unfortunately I've had to do a power down on Hive, which is running it's last few weeks now, so I plan to put little bits and pieces back with Listnerds unstaking.
Win win in my opinion.

This is going to sound... fudish (is that a word?) but hear me out and no need to over-react. As it is now, it's going to be very difficult for LISTNERDS tokens to sell at 2 HIVE each. It's likely someday LISTNERDS will be sold for less than 1 hive, like way less than 1 hive.... unless LISTNERDS incorporates some incentive for users to buy and hold listnerd tokens and feel assured they could sell and exit anytime.

There are two ways to help solidify the price:

The financial managers of listnerds would have to place buyback orders on the dex for listnerds at at least 2 hive and replenish it as needed. They may see this as a "refund", but if users powerdown, I feel listnerd powerusers are entitled to a fair buyback for liquid tokens. At least enough to recover the initial investment(s).
The financial managers of listnerds would need to incorporate an incentive for users outside of listnerds.com to purchase and hold listnerd tokens. A DEFI program with daily rewards for people (outside of listnerds.com) would generate some interest in purchasing or holding the token. Also tipping listnerd tokens would introduce more people to the program.

There is practically no buying incentive outside of listnerds.com and very little buying incentive inside listnerds.com, just earning incentive. That could change and likely WILL change, but as it is currently, 2 hive is a bit of an artificial value.

I'm quite fond of listnerds for the blog exposure and community, but I want also to address concerns I have and improvement that (in my opinion) must happen to maintain the token's value.

It is, for everyone, going to be a learning curve. Including the owners. I am sure they have many ideas and future plans for ListNerds.

It is going to be interesting to see how it all unfolds.

I will stay positive, upbeat, and a believer.

I got 68 days before I can even start to try and sell.

The great part about liquidity is once you have it, you can pick your time to sell.

That being said, I understand your points.

That's a pretty good amount to take out and still be able to continue growing. I am not close to that point yet. I like the idea of rolling it back in to pay for the upgrade. I just upgraded this last week. I am probably close to being able to do that. I can definitely see how it would be important to be able to show people how to get money out for what they need in real life in order to be able to encourage them to be active and upgrade.

I think it's fine to unstake and take some profit. I don't really plan on doing so because I haven't really spent any money on Listnerds so far. At some point, when it's large enough, I do plan on unstaking a small portion while still growing.

In the past I have been terrible about paying myself, so I think it's timely and important to have a thought sesh or discussion about such things. Last week @gadrian wrote a thoughtful post about unstaking, and after pondering his well-written take on the subject for a bit, I did something similar. Every time I earn 1100 Listnerds, I unstake 100 of them, that way, starting in June, my enterprise upgrade with be paid for and I'll have a little extra, yet my stake will keep growing nicely.

And let me tell ya, it was super hard for me to do even that little bit of unstaking, I like staking tokens way better than unstaking them lol!

And thanks for throwing up your thought process and rationale on the subject! Also, good morning lol!

Hmm, that is weird. Somehow I had 10 LN liquid to start with and I was able to move that out. Now it seems as though I am with you having to wait the 70 days. Well you and everyone else I guess. I'd just love to know where that original 10 came from. I think it is smart to take gains where you can to keep your subscription self sustaining. As long as you are growing too, then it is all good.

wow you started at 75 unstaking a day, that's a lot!
I'm not even there yet, I've started unstaking at 2000 and with 10 / day while upping it ever X days (not a set amount, just looking in my sheet and seeing if all still goes up enough)

I predict you will regret taking out this much right away because you will see your staking rewards drop a lot. The last days paydays were high because of the Easter weekend last week, where fewer people were emailing (so less to share the rewards with this week).

My post was meant to show people it's stupid to take out BIG chunks if you're here building something. And it seems like my point was not clear enough. I've monitored my unstaking/growing process closely and I'm very happy that I didn't get greedy but slowly upped the unstaking. When I was at your current stake, I only took out 35 listnerds a day to show you the difference.

Of course, it's up to you but I also feel we all have to take into account a bit that we don't want Listnerds to crash and keep growing our stakes, after all these staking rewards will be passive income even without 2 verified emails...

I like this approach, @bradleyarrow - you are continuing to grow your account while taking out some profits each day. It will be interesting to see how much you can sell Listnerds for on the open market, but this is the kind of thing I aim to do at some stage, especially if I take the Enterprise upgrade. Once you can show others how you can earn daily without selling, your sales are likely to go up! Good luck!
