It's been a while since I used the site but I haven't been that active over the past few months.
Life as usual gets busy and I was putting a lot more time into playing Splinterlands which takes away from blogging time. There are only so many hours in the day and between work, family, hobbies, commitments it only leaves a few minutes a day for hive related tasks. Maybe an hour in the day if I'm lucky.
I've seen a lot since starting blogging on hive and if you want to grow then you need to treat it like a game. Put in the hours, power up and set goals to move up the ranks. Every Hive earned is valuable and plan like it's worth $10 which it could be in some far distant future.
The top accounts that i see growing are the ones who are attacking their account growth through the simple ideas of time and effort.
I've been putting in a better week this week and the results show for themselves.
If I could put in that effort 7 days a week then the chart would be a lot better looking again. I know that there is money involved in the game but for me I just see the HP numbers rather than the dollar numbers.
If I ever treated it like money then it would become too serious. All I want for the moment is to break that 100K mark and move into another level on the Hive blockchain.
It's possible this year with a lot of effort and a little buying form other coins depending on how the markets move for the rest of the year.
At the moment I'm number 228 in the list of HP holders but that is a lot better than it used to be a year ago.
Top 100 has to be a goal but that is going to take a lot more HP and those tend to be the more active users anyway that are still here and stacking.
Lets call that a long term goal at 200K Hive. I would need to win big on another crypto i think to buy enough to compete there. Still something to work towards in the next five years or so.
Lots more to do either way.
