You find me in rather a good mood this morning for some strange reason!
What a game, that was much better and with Newcastle coming up next weekend, hopefully we can push onwards and upwards.
Despite another couple of injuries to Firpo, who has finally been getting into the groove lately and Forshaw, we performed really well with intensity and a never-say-die attitude. I thought young Hjelde was excellent in defence and Koch was classy and composed. I can't wait to see him and Llorente forming a really solid central defensive partnership although Llorente with his excellent distribution is a natural for me to cover for Phillips.
As for David Moyes, whinging because they had a midweek game...pathetic! I look forward to their forthcoming fall down the table :-)

Celtic are sat in strange position in second at the moment, 6 points off the top but 9 points clear to third placed Hearts.
What makes this game interesting is that Hibs are sat in 5th, just 2 points from a Europa League place so I immediately wonder about motivation in this game and who's going to be giving it most.
There is also a personal interest in this game as Celtic, amongst three Japanese player they have just brought in is former Leeds player, Yosuke Ideguchi who had a really tough time at Leeds through injury and then poor loan spells as he fought to regain his fitness and we all so wanted him to do well as he came with great reputation as a Japanese International. I truly wish him all the best and hope he does well at Celtic, whether all three of them play tonight is open to question but with so many possible debuts and returns from injury, it's hard to tell what will happen.
Hibernian have selection issues of their own with defenders Ryan Porteous and Paul McGinn both being suspended, on-loan from Celtic midfielder Henderson ineligible to play and newly signed, Norwegian front man, Elias Melkersen still awaiting his work permit so Hibs manager Shaun Maloney will have some tough calls to make his team are to take anything away from the bouncing and passionate Celtic Park crowd.
This could be a great game but I'm not convinced of there being any major upsets...

The Small Print
In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goal scorer or correct score, the prize is shared, and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 50 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all pay-outs will never exceed 50% of post-pay-out. Other bonuses are paid out at my discretion.
