Use Your Both Hands and Legs When Practice Martial Arts

in #combat4 years ago

Some people feel more comfortable using the right hand, and some people feel more comfortable using the left hand. What you can do with your right- strike and defense, you can do the same thing with your left hand. The way you practice that is very important.

If you punch with the right hand only or the left hand only, that is not good. You should use both sides. When you do ten punches with one hand and do the ten punches with the other hand.

When you practice parry, you should do the same. If you do parry ten times with your right hand, you should do the same parry ten times with your left hand. You can use your hands any time to strike and defense.

There are some situations you cannot kick, but you can use your hands. You can do elbow strike, chop, hammer fist, punch, hook as well as you can do different blocks and parry. You can grab the attacker and make your moves to protect yourself.

When it comes to self defense, safety for yourself always comes first. You can attack the attacker from a certain distance if you are good at kicking. When you practice kicks, kick with your both legs. Do not just with your right leg or left leg. In a fight for self defense, you need to use both legs.

When you fight, you are in a fighting stance. There are the right fighting stance and left fighting stance. When you practice martial arts, get used to standing in both stances. Then you are ready to defend and strike which stance you are standing.
