Have Patience When You Learn Martial Arts

in #combat4 years ago

In the beginning, we see many people are excited to learn martial arts and they take action to enroll in a martial art course. Later, the number of students decreases. If you do something just out of emotion, it might not last for a long time. Maybe you watch a martial art action movie, you are inspired to learn martial arts.

When you see something nice or impressive, that does not happen overnight. It takes a lot of time, patience and talent to do that. If you learn martial arts to impressive someone, you should think again. What if that person does not impress to see you or if that person likes what you do, then what? You got what you want.

Why you are learning a martial art, it is better to have a clear idea about it. If you like martial arts and you want to stay healthy and fit, you can learn any martial art.

If your goal is to be a champion and participate in the fighting competition, you can focus on specific martial arts. Again, if you want to learn self defense, it is recommended to choose martial arts that can help you defend yourself in real-life.

Now you are doing something not because everyone does that. You are doing something and you know exactly what you want. So when you focus like that, you will be inspired and keep learning martial arts consistently. My friend, you have to have patience, you are not going to learn everything at once. You have to go ahead step by step.

One thing that is very important when you learn not only martial arts but only anything, that is, respect your teacher or instructor. You listen to your instructor not because he/she is your instructor, you respect him/her. You should follow your instructor's instructions. You might not understand something instantly, but you will understand it later why your instructor says that.

I am sharing different things about martial arts and self defense. If you like martial arts or my post, please let me know. I appreciate your support and feedback. Thank you so much for reading this post. To learn more about martial arts and self defense, you can check out some of my recent posts.

But the key is to maintain consistency with patience while learning. This is the key to success in everything. Every body should understand this.

If any student practice martial art consistently, he/she will do better. To learn martial art, you need to move forward step by step and it takes time. Thank you very much @saswat036 for your feedback, I appreciate that.
