Sharing my experiences during Hurricane Ian and the floods in the Orlando-Kissimmee area. Things were relatively fine for most of my family; Our house didn't suffer at all, but my sister's house was flooded. We went out to help out the family, and some people that needed help in our area, but there wasn't much to do. Our immediate area didn't suffer through the worst of it, luckily. We live closer inland, so the storms tend to weaken by the time they come to our location, especially if the storms come through the Gulf of Mexico first.
