Trying to get back on track after the Xmas.

It's time to get back in the game here.

I fust checked and it's been 15 days since my last post on Hive. That could be my longest break yet and it's not from lack of interest. It's purely been from the madness of christmas and all of the other commitments that I have had over the past week or so. It's been hectic to say the least and I'm burnt from all of it. So is everybody else in the house.

I'm currently sitting downstairs by myself as the rest of the family is still fast asleep in bed and if you have young kids then you know how unusual that is.

It's well past their usual time to wake up and they have been down since 7pm so that is a huge rest but I think the christmas takes it out of us all. Especially when you have other commitments around the holidays.

There has been something on every single day for the past week and a half and we have more to come unfortunately.

There have been staff parties, birthdays, close family over for a few days. Hosting the inlaws, seeing my own family. Kids, santa and everything that goes with that. It's been constant. At least today we just have a kids party to go to and try to straighten up the house after all the rest.

It should be a more restful day. While it was a bust time we did have a lot of fun and everything ran smoothly so at least it was a good time even if it was a busy one.

This post is pretty much a post to nothing but writing is about routine and practise so I need to get back into good habits one way or the other. I've opened up the laptop too many times with the intention of writing and not getting anywhere. The tiredness and business have taken away my motivation and without that there is nothing.

I don't normally do new years resolutions and I won't make a specific one this year either but what I will be doing is getting back on track for a fitter healthier year that I started last year and continue to build up my crypto assets through hive, leo and splinterlands.

Both of these goals are work orientated so I need to spend my time building good habits and routines. It's so important to show up every day and do a little bit at least or you are going nowhere.

Small amounts add up fast and I have the full intention of getting into great shape for the hurling this year and setting new records for stacking bags.

That's the reason to post daily and to keep grinding even when you don't really feel like it.

So Happy Christmas to everyone and enjoy the new year.
