The free Hive is over.
It was great while the Hive faucet lasted but unfortunately Binance seems to have cut off the 40% APR and we are down to anormal number at 1.5%.
So all the Hive is back in my wallet where it belongs along with a little top up form the few months of rewards that were handed out.
I do still have a stack that I turned into Rune as well still on binance but I'm waiting for a price hike to convert back to Hive and hopefully make some extra gains.
At the moment I'm back about where i was three months ago but with the possibility to make another 10- 15K hive still to come which is a nice gain from the earnings program.
Unfortunately we've had a terrible run for crypto apart from Bitcoin which is holding up particularly well considering that the world has gone crazy right now.
War and uncertainty is rife at the moment with Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Palestine, Iran, Pakistan, India and possibly USA among the chief warmongers right now.
Is a sad reality of war that a handful of people will make fortunes while millions will suffer to make it happen. Madness of the worst kind on behalf of politicians that nobody wants or likes. And yet they will determine how many thousand people are killed today while going about their daily tasks. Good and Evil are just terms used by power hungry politicians as propaganda to support their ambitions.
Israel love to cry antisemitism while dropping bombs on little kids just as much as Hamas attack their country in defense of their people while holding hostages that could possibly bring down those losses in one way or the other.
All arranged and orchestrated by a few individuals at the top for their own aims and benefit. The same as every other war in history.
Power, Control and greed.
The trifecta of war. A little off topic from powering up my hive but I'm watching the news and it's hard to take when you see these criminals crying for their people while inflicting misery on others.
It's no different here as people cry patriotism while saying foreigners out. Smaller scale, all a big distraction form the real social issues that we have in the country. Do we need to remove and prevent illegal immigrants. Yes.
Do we need to attack people not of our race or culture and remove those. Absolutely not. Not if they are here legally and to make a better life for themselves. Not if they are here to work and to assimilate into our country. Not if they are here and willing to become part of the community and learn about our culture as we learn about theirs.
It's not us against them.
It's us against the people in control. The ones with the power to make real change that are more concerned about lining their pockets and re-election than making the right choices and working for their constituents.
This turned into a bit of a political rant when the point was about having control over my funds again, having a stake in the community again and working to keep growing it and secure a better future for myself and my family so it does tie in to the reality of the world right now.
