Good man Niall!

Mighty to hear you're back playing hurling!

Sports are so important and such a good outlet in so many ways.

I recently went back playing soccer and got injured in the first match!

So mind yourself and do plenty of stretches etc before training and matches 👍🏻

Ouch.
Not a great way to kick off the season. :D

It's my first time actually playing hurling but i didn't disgrace myself at the training last night. I'm from the football half of Clare so we never had it growing up.

Legs are in bits today though. It's been years since i did any running.

Hope the ankle heals up fast and you can get back out there. It's great to be out playing sports again and as you say. Very important.

Fair dues to you man.

It sounds like you're getting really invested and that's fantastic. Playing in a team is brilliant and new friendships will blosom and you'll feel much more part of the local community.

As regards me, I'm not sure if to just stick with the golf or have a crack at U42s football.

It would be fun for sure, but the potential injuries would really put me off.

At least with golf, it's still competitive and injuries are pretty much non existent.

U42's football sounds like great fun.
There might be injuries but it's a lot more fun than the golf. Nothing like proper sport to get you motivated.

Going again tomorrow night with the possibility of a challenge match soon. It's good to have it.
