We had Shadow since he was a few weeks old. His mother had kittens in the back garden of my girlfriends mothers house.
Her mother kindly took the kittens in and gave them away to families except two. Shadow and his sister. Shadows mother left the kittens and never returned which was sad.
Shadows sister was not good with humans and was terrified whenever we approached but shadow on the other hand was amazing, he wanted to be picked up and stroked. From meeting shadow i fell in love with him and decided to take him home as part of my family.
We had Shadow for 2 years until we got told that we have to move house again but the house we manaved to secure didnt allow pets whatsoever. A bit mean but it is what it is so we then had to find a family to take shadow on as their own.
Giving him away was like giving away a son, me and him were so close and inseparable when we was together.
We found a lovely family who were keen on him and they were really looking forward to taking shadow so we went to their house to check it out and meet the family, the family were great, warm, loving people. It was one of the hardest things iv ever had to do and leave my baby behind with strangers but a couple months have passed now and he is doing great.
The family sometimes send us pictures of him and show us how happy he is. We went to visit him and he definitely remembered us as he didnt want to leave us alone.
Miss my baby so much and wish i never had to give him away.
