Beer Saturday
Arah isn't there something about a bevvy by the pool? My auld friend @blanchy is swanning around the Algarve at the minute his Mojitos pool-side and sure why wouldn't he!
So this week I am going to take you back in time around 10 days to when I was in Spain and twas I swanning around pools with my tin of Cruzcampo beer.
A cold beer and the sun beating down on you always works well. The first two here are from our pool in Benahavis and the other three are from our roof top pool in Nerja, which was much smaller, but was still really nice and the kids were loving both pools, which is the main thing really.
So wherever you are near or far, I hope the sun is shining on you and you are able to chill out and enjoy a beer or your tipple of choice or a mug of tae (tea) if the drink is not for you.
Joke Time
Ok, time for a joke, as I have been throwing a joke in for the past few weeks for the shits and giggles.
This week instead of a joke, I'll share a couple of sage quote from me auld friend Billy Connolly.
“Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cosy, doesn’t try it on.”
“There are two seasons in Scotland: June and Winter.”
“Honestly some folk will take offence at anything, I met a bloke with no legs this morning while at the bus stop, all I asked was ‘How are you getting on?'”
“Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? He’s a mile away and you’ve got his shoes!”
Good man Billy - some funny man in your day
