Christmas Painting... as requested by Mama <3 <3 <3

in #art4 years ago

Hello beautiful people!!!

It's my day off today... well, I did have one special class earlier, but it was just for 30 minutes, so I have much free time today. My high school friends are coming over later. But since they're not here yet, I decided to paint!

I already finished the ice bucket painting, but I'll show it to you next time. For now, I'll show you a painting I made a while ago which is requested by mama.

Well, she wanted me to paint something so we can put as background for the gifts we prepared for Christmas. Our wall was a bit dry and there were cracks, so she wanted me to cover it with a painting.

I would have loved to paint the wall itself, but I don't have the right paint and it'll take lots of time. Anyway, the design is only temporary for Christmas... so yeah~

Let me show you the finished product first... :)

Well, The wall was a bit wide, so I joined two pages of watercolor paper together. For this painting, I used some acrylic paints because my poster paints are at their limit. I guess, I'll have to replenish my art materials soon, especially my paints, both poster and acrylic.. <3

Well, I couldn't show the whole process because I was kind of in a hurry because my friends would be in our house soon. So, I just took pictures randomly as I was painting it.

Wait... is that Casper, the friendly ghost?? hahaha... xD Well, let's go on.

Ohhh! It's a snowman! Hahahaha... xD I originally wanted to draw some anime characters, but I decided to make it more "Christmas~y". So, yeah... let's stick to this style. :)

And suddenly, it's almost over!!! LOL... Yeah, I got so into it that I forgot to take pictures. Sorry~

I also tried to draw a tiny silhouette of Santa Claus on his sleigh together with his reindeers. Can you see them? hihihi

Then, there goes the greeting! I just used the colors I used earlier so I could save. I wanted it to be more colorful, though.

Attached my username, signature and date. <3 And took off the tape surrounding the artwork.

It's done!!!! After which, I and mama posted them on the wall.

Ohh, can you see part of my other painting which is on the glass table? I also enjoyed doing that. :)

It was fulfilling to finish the artwork in less than an hour and I'm happy to see my parents appreciating and requesting me to paint for them. It really means a lot! I truly appreciate their support even though my paintings aren't that nice. But seeing that they like it is more than enough to make me happy. <3

I'll end my post here. See you again! (^_^)/
