I totally forgot to share the other side of the ice bucket I painted on last time. Do you still remember it? The one with Luffy from One Piece? If not, check it HERE.
I did mention that I'm going to paint chibi Naruto on the other side on that post. Also, I showed a glimpse of the "ARASHI" lettering in front. Well guess what? I finished it the next day, but I failed to post here, so even though it's late, I hope you enjoy the continuation.
Yep! That's chibi Naruto over there. And the same with Luffy, I used a marker for the outline and acrylic/poster paint for the colors. I also didn't sketch this with pencil, so I'm glad I didn't make a mistake in drawing it. I did it as carefully as I could. Now, let me show you pictures of the process. <3
Isn't he a cutie? I like how vibrant the colors are. It was so fun doing it, and I'm happy to see it every time I go near our store. My papa placed it there so he could use it. What do you think about it..? Now, allow me to show you the other sides of the ice bucket.
A simple calligraphy here. I also drew some of Arashi's favorite treats. I actually wanted to draw more, but I ran out of time that time, so I told papa to finish it. However, instead of finishing it by drawing more, he already wrapped the ice bucket. lol He said, this is enough and that he's afraid to make a mistake. xD
Do you guys know "Blue's Clues"? It's an animated educational show I used to watch when I was a child. The dog's name is Blue and whenever he wants to do something, he leaves his paw print on a clue. Once all three clues are gathered, Steve (his owner) tries to think with the audience on what Blue wants to do.
Drawing the paw prints on this feels so nostalgic as it reminded me of that piece of my childhood.
And as you have already seen, Luffy is on the other side of the ice bucket. The kids in our neighborhood was very surprised to see these paintings. They were like, "Ate!!! Si Naruto lagi na og si Luffy?!" (Big sis, they're Naruto and Luffy, aren't they?) I asked them, do you watch these anime? They said, not really but they know these characters.
Although Naruto and Luffy aren't my favorite characters, they're the most well-known ones that even if someone don't watch anime, they still recognize these two. Much like San Goku and Sailor Moon for the older ones.
