Funny you say that. Bianca actually wanted to adopt a tree this year (you get a tree for 3 weeks and bring it back and get the same tree next year). But it was a long drive and about 3x times more expensive....this tree was sold 5 minutes from the house....I'll consider it for next year.

There is a fairytale written by Hand Christian Andersen called " The Fir tree" I read it as a child then I always opted for some I could return out. Of course by no mean I'm preaching and i hope you enjoy the tradition of decorating with your family :) just as food for thought for the future :) or maybe you can get it in your yard and see it grow :) the original Xmas trees were born in Latvia and were outdoors, where every year people would hang ornaments, and some edible for the squirrels and small animals to eat.
