Hey everyone, as most of you that follow me know I am somewhat of a nature boy, tree/bunny hugger and I am loving it. I just love nature and everything about it and naturally when it presents itself to take some more amazing pics of incredible creation, in any form, I do just that!
Given that this was a night-time event this was certainly not a butterfly but a Moth, of which species who knows? Anyone that can elucidate further would be much appreciated?
How incredible are those 'eyes' on her wings, naturally to mimic a predator and keep potential predators away!
Would you believe these moths make quiet a noise whilst flapping about, when she finally came to rest I snapped away. She came through my window at night and landed just next to the light in the bathroom.
After flapping around the light for sometime as can be seen here she landed on my hand which made for some more nice pics, lucky me. I do feel I have this connection with nature and for some or other reason feel that it 'trusts' me! Hard to explain I guess, let the pics do the talking!
After I snapped these pics I gently put her outside the window again and on her way she went!
