I love 'Alone' ! Thanks for the review. I've watched all 7 seasons and just last night finished watching Alone The Beast 2020
I was not a fan of the new shows premise. 3 strangers dropped with nothing but the clothes on their backs for 30 days. They are provided with a fresh kill that they must locate and find sharp rocks to butcher it with. They have no tools - moose, wildebeest, and some of the episodes take place in the swamps, so there is even an alligator. Each episode is a new group, so you don't ever really get to know anyone.

Thanks for the comment. That new premise does not sound as interesting to me. I kind of like getting to know the contestants, rooting for my favorites, watching my favorites leave, and choosing new favorites.

Me too. In The Beast episodes you are only given glimpses of the personalities as you watch them try to work as a group. And in the swamp episodes there are far too many spiders, snakes, and alligators for my liking!
