Don't let the title fool you. But for awhile today Mr. Positive was Mr. Negative. Let me explain along with the picture. Lol.
I guess it started with being out of bed between 12:20am and 1:30 am with a cluster headache. Then the alarm clock going off at 5:45. Man I wanted to go back to bed.
Thankfully the wife wanted peanut butter that was on sale. So I got that before I went to work.
I got to work and the first customer showed up to have warranty work done. Without us, us meaning the service desk personnel, minus me, having the required pre-approval.
I fixed all that.
The afternoon came and I up to my eyes trying to get more warranty work straightened out. Customer where lining up, work orders to be invoiced where piling up.
Good help is hard to get. Useless came to mind. I hit 100 percent frustration levels and Mr. Negative over came Mr. Positive.
I put aside my current work, put my head down and got the department caught up.
By 5pm, closing we were all caught up and on time.
I walk out and as I thought about the day Mr. Positive returned.
Why?
Because I fucking rock. I rocked the day at work. Negative and frustrated I still fucking rocked the day. I was the day.
Self praise? Damn strait.
Then with the positive attitude I got home. The wife wanted a bunk bed set, set up. Got it used at bargain basement price. Got it done and crawled in for laugh and the wife snapped the pic.
The moral or the story? Be your best, do your best, even when others are not pulling their weight. Feel fantastic about yourself and your abilities. It will take you places in the long run. You will leave others in the dust.
