My New Found Virtual Friends <3 <3 <3 I Just Love Them So Much!!! ^^

Recently, I've been hanging around the language exchange site I used to frequent in the past. I have been a member of that site for more than three years now, but I usually come and go. I met people, but didn't really constantly contact them. They either disappear, or I do the disappearance. However, these days, I met some friends who I have been in contact with constantly. One of them, I've been in constant conversation for almost a month now and it's just overwhelming in some ways.

It's just so fun talking with people from all over the world. We discover more of ourselves by talking with them. One of my new found friends is from America. :) He's originally from Jamaica and he's so interesting to talk with. He's in love with music and would love to create and release his own music someday! I really hope he becomes successful. Another thing about him is that, he's an otaku like me!!! <3 We can talk about anime and manga a lot. One thing though, we have different time zones, so it's kind of difficult to keep talking for a long time.

Well, it's OK. We can always keep our enthusiasm every time we talk about anime-related stuff. What's interesting is we also like the same anime opening songs and endings, so it was nice exchanging our views regarding these things. I guess, you never run out of topics when it comes to anime and related stuff. At least, for otaku(s) like us. hahaha

Another virtual friend I met on the site is an awesome Russian cosplayer and artist. :) She has great passion for cosplay and digital arts. And the thing that connected us was BL comics. haha It all started when she visited my profile and read the word "Fujoshi". She excitedly sent me a message and BOOM!!!!.

This is the first time I met someone who reads almost all the BL comics I've read. We can talk about a lot of things... well we usually say "our BL babies". haha She's really interesting to talk with and whenever we send each other a message, the length is like a blog post. hahaha It's like all our excitement is placed in that post. It's too difficult to message her using my phone. I really have to use my PC so I can easily type everything that I want to say.

Aside from BL, we like the same cosplayers. We're both in love with Reika, Yuegene, Hikarin, Yumecos, Baozi&Hana, and a lot more. I have never talked to anyone like this about cosplayers that much. Some of my friends do know very famous ones, though but talking about cosplayers isn't common for me until I met this friend. <3 Her cosplays are also really good!Lastly, the fanarts she makes are awesome!!! It made me want to get back to digital arts again. <3

And then, there's this friend from Japan. I met him in this site last month. It was casual small talks at first and I thought it would just be the same with the other members... come and go. However, I thought wrong. It all started one night when we chatted and got to know each other until early in the morning. It was both our day off the next day, so we had more time to chat. It was already 5AM in my place and 6AM in his.

The same thing happened the next day and we ended up chatting every day even during our work days. What's interesting is that, he isn't an otaku like me and we don't really have a lot in common. But I guess the differences made it interesting.

But when I think about it, the very thing that got me really interested in talking with him is our favorite horror movie. We both love Insidious and I have never met someone who loves Insidious as much as I do!!! hahaha

He also recently started playing MLBB when I told him I enjoy playing it, so hopefully on our day off, we can play together. :) It's really enjoyable talking with him, too. :)

These might be virtual friendships for now, but I really do hope to meet them in person someday. It would be awesome to keep in touch and continue the friendship we started online. :)
