I Made Some Ice Cream... (a dessert experimentation)

in OCD4 years ago

In my previous blog regarding the mango float that I made, I mentioned that it tasted like Magnum Ice Cream... so, I decided to experiment on it and make my own style of ice cream. :)

I asked papa to buy more cream and milk for me to do it. I need not buy other ingredients because we still have some possible ingredients to use for this experimentation.

Tadah! These are the three flavors ice cream I made: choco-graham, cheese and mango. I created three of each flavor for mama, papa and myself. :)

These were the ingredients that I used for the three flavors.

We have here two boxes of cream and around 3/4 condensed milk... I forgot that papa only bought the cream since I still have some leftover milk, and we don't want the ice cream to be super sweet.

What I did first was mix in these two main ingredients in this big bowl. Since I didn't have mixer or egg whisker, I just used two forks facing each other. hahaha

Once the consistency is to my liking, I added it on the other ingredients on the smaller bowls.

One bowl is with crushed graham, I also added a small box of chocolate drink and some chocolate. I just added the mixed cream and milk and mix everything thoroughly until it's creamy.

Next flavor is mango, so I also prepared some mashed mango to mix in with the milk and cream. :)

Lastly, I have here some grated cheese. I always like cheese-flavored snacks, so I'm pretty excited for the cheese ice cream!

After mixing everything in the smaller bowl in accordance to the flavor, I transfered them into some small plastic cups. These plastic cups are all recycled, by the way. We got them when we bought some fried chicken from Jollibee, and they placed aome gravy in these plastic cups.

And then I placed it on the freezer overnight. The next day, we ate all of them! I especially like the cheese flavored ones. It wasn't too sweet, and just right.

Mama and papa both loved it, especially the mango flavored one. I am glad that my family enjoyed this little experiment. Of course, I'll make more again someday... it's not good to keep eating it despite the ingredients to be natural than other ready-made ones.

I may not like cooking, but creating interesting sweets or desserts is fun! Let's see what I'll be experimenting on next time.

Thanks for reading and see you around!

I remember making these and selling them to class. Looks yummy :D
Pro Tip: Don't sell them unless you have a fridge nearby. Ice boxes will not help.

I might or might not sell these... :) But for sure, I'm gonna make more of these for my family and friends... ;) Thanks for the tip... ^^
