I didn’t sleep well but it was an early morning day. I went to work, parked a distance and walked to the office. A sunny day, not like yesterday. When it was time to go back, I walked to my car and pressed to beep the door open. Silence. No beep and the door didn’t open either. I tried several times before I remembered that my key’s battery gave a low battery notification few days before. Dang.
Good thing I was in the city. I walked to the nearest watch shop and changed the key’s battery before walking back to my car and try. It was more expensive than if I changed it myself but beggars can’t be choosers. And my heart leaped with joy by the sound of beep.
When I got home, I showered, prepared dinner, had dinner and cleaned up. By the end of it, I was beat after all the excitement with the beep. Hello pillow.
