Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday started normally with another grey and gloomy sky. But can you see that tiny blue dot? I was hopeful it would all clear up but it disappeared quickly unfortunately.
All the material and the dumpster for the roof replacement were delivered. It's all ready for Friday and the weather forecast seems okay too. The installation should go as planned.
Before her appointment at the vet, Kaia had to inspect the yard of course.
That brings me to the very good news of yesterday: Kaia is cleared to return to normal full activities! We went to her 8 weeks post-surgery recheck at the vet, and the doc said everything looked great on the X-rays, and whatever other tests he did also went well. So in short, she's been healing very well, and it's now time to resume complete activity, so she can rebuild muscle mass. And we'll start with a long walk. But when we came back, I really wanted to enjoy my afternoon espressos, so we only went for that walk after nightfall. Just a couple blocks from home, something was clearly happening, with multiple fire trucks and cars. Hopefully, nothing too bad.
But we just continued on our way to the forest. It's fun to walk in there in full darkness. And there's always night mode for pictures!
Kaia was so happy to finally get some real off-leash time, she stopped at every trees she could find in the forest!
And since she's back in the game, we extended our walk in the neighborhood. I thought people installed their Halloween decorations early, but clearly not as early as their Christmas decorations. I don't care about Christmas, but it's funny to see how serious people get about it.
That walk was just enough to get above the bar for #poprzeczka. Doing well so far this month without a single bar dropped. Let's see how long we can keep it this way.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
