Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday I was awake much earlier than usual because I had to drop Kaia off early at the veterinary hospital for her surgery. It was weird to see the morning sky and sun!
They took her in quickly and I had time to run plenty of errands. I had already many things done at a time when I'm normally still in bed! When I came back home, Le Chat was already hard at work too!
During the work day, I kept forgetting Kaia wasn't here, but still took breaks in the yard as if she was. Le Chat, a very dedicated worker, never left her working station.
Mid afternoon, the veterinary surgeon called me to let me know the surgery went well. Perfect news before having a few espressos in the yard! As if he knew Kaia wasn't here to protect the yard, a deer came for a visit.
He let me get pretty close.
But he eventually fled to join his friend.
But maybe it wasn't his friend after all, because they started fighting. First time I see something like that, except on TV of course.
Even without Kaia, I thought I would go for a walk to catch the sunset. But it's really early now, so I only caught the end again.
It was getting dark when I was on my way back, and the Moon looked great.
The deer were still at it. It's blurry because it was so dark, but it was surprised they'd fight for so long.
And that was it for a busy day. Kaia's coming back home tomorrow, I still have to prepare a few things in the house.
