as this was my first time seeing this hype, i understand it is an opportunity to make it a bit more public, and trending on media, but not sure what were people expecting to happen

I sold my little amount of BTC around 9000 USD a few hours ago to bought 100 HIVE Jeje because the price of BTC has a high probability to going down and test a dynamic support around 7000 USD, as in the following scenario.

@kingscrown I have some BTC with me. I will definitely hold it and watch out for what exactly is going to happen.i am not selling or buying for now.
Probably buy some more in a few weeks if it dips lower. The event itself just adds gravity to whatever emotions are affecting the markets right now, but the real impact will be next year or the year after. Most of Bitcoin's potential liquidity is already in circulation, and each additional halving may have even less of an impact on price. The whales themselves have more power over price now than the actual halving events.
I will sit back and relax and enjoy the show. I am in for long term, and I know it will eventually go to ATH in coming years.
I'm actually doing nothing. I only hold alts and my hopes are for a bull market months after the halving when I would dump some of them.
