We are having a nice hot weekend, and beach time is tempting. The thought of glimmering waves excites me the most, and it would be nice to take a trip for a dip🏊♀ one of these days. All we need is to clear our plates a bit, or we will only dream of some beach time for months, lol!
Anyways, my nephew-in-law surprised us with a visit midmorning today. It was the first time he did so. Turned out that he wanted more income and came thinking we had an acre for him to till.😂
But yeah, he's a hardworking lad in his mid-twenties who came to town from the Viscayas and had been earning his keep from working in the farms. Then he met and married my niece.
So what did we do?
We gave him something to do, lol! And guess what? He started working on it right after lunch! Is he showing off? We hope not! This is our first collaboration so only time will tell how much he values our trust.
Until then, we will joyfully navigate this new partnership.
Meanwhile, since it's the weekend, here's a quick recap of my week 9, particularly my savings and stacking goals, re:
Savings
- Current: 1,303 HBD
- Last Week: 1,282 HBD
21 HBD were added during the week, bringing me closer to my year-end target. A little less than 1.2k HBD more to go, which I think is quite achievable. The current price of HIVE is tempting me to spend some HBD for it, but I'll be playing firm this time.
Sats
- Current: 81,085 sats
- Last Week: 71,335 sats
Just about 9.75k sats were added. I was late to change the frequency of my auto-buys, and as I was mostly offline in the past 2-3 days with the Farmboy's cousins visiting, I missed the chance to purchase some sats when BTC was under $80k. But there is no pressure, and we will take this journey slowly.
Anyhow, Binance is migrating the Auto-Invest feature to Convert Recurring as the former will cease next month.
Not sure how things will change after migration, but we will make adjustments when needed. Until then, we shall go with what's already in place. We will let the auto-buy subscription (now every 12 hours) continue.
On another topic, we didn't see the rare celestial phenomenon yesterday where 7 planets (Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Mercury, Saturn, and Venus) were reported to parade up in the sky, 5 of which are said to be visible to the naked eye.
A quick search online clarified that the occurrence would happen this evening, so we hope to catch a glimpse of it on the road (we are driving to the Lil Kingdom to pick up some stuff that my nephew will be using when he comes with a few more boys next week).
And oh, a glance at the date reminded me today is HPUD!
Well, just a few clicks solved that! My staked HIVE is growing (back) slowly but surely and is now 24,266 HP yay!
