Feel

Weekends have a way of improving my mood, probably something to do with not having to work, although I like my work and don't mind doing it so maybe it's something altogether different - possibly the fact I can choose what I do, a lot or a little and who I want to do it with; yep, freedom of choice.

Music does the same thing for me, improves my mood, however it also has the ability to affect mood so much that if one is depressed music can exacerbate those feelings just like feelings of love, anger, sadness, loss and so on. It's a very powerful thing is music.

Anyway, below I've added three tracks that for one reason or another that shall remain unexplained make me feel certain things.

I know few (if any) will listen to the tracks below but if you do and would like to comment about what each of them makes you feel then go ahead in the comments - You don't have to like them, I don't give a shit if you do or not, I'm more interested in how they make you feel.

🔺Track one - check it out and report
🔺Track two - You know what to do
🔺Track three - listen and report

(This post is for the #saturdayselections concept - sharing music in the WEEKEND EXPERIENCES community on Saturdays.)

The music I listen to usually matches my mood, or I listen to it to induce a certain mood, like when I write suspense stories, I put on a particular style of music.

It makes me feel... the first one is strength and strategy, struggle. The second one is desolation, sadness, the end of something. The third one is motivation, fighting for what you want, achieving goals.

That's what came to mind while I was listening to them. I loved this exercise; it can evoke something different in each person. Interesting.

For sure it's interesting.

1. WTF...
I made it thirty seconds. I felt as if I should be doing Molly/Meth @ an All Night Techno Rave Dance Party

Lol...I'm still waiting for someone to do #3.

I guess I was on target with #2?

🎯

No disrespect intended.

What do you mean, no disrespect?

I didn't know what to expect when I clicked on the tracks, and with the first one I found myself in the middle of some action video game, driving a car through city streets or a spaceship while being chased by aliens. And the third track, I was thrown right into such a film by North America, English settlers and Indians. 😀

Yep, the first one is from the movie, Blade, Nd the last from a movie called, The last of the Mohicans. The second is from a movie called, Oblivion.

The first one: strength, self security, like as if you are always in control of everything

Second: sadness, but with hope, as if something has gone bad, but there is chance to sort it out afterall

Last one: remembering, as if you are there thinking at the past, remember part of your life

Great reflections on the photo btw

Yeah, that's close to how I feel about them, slight differences but that's often mood-dependent.

First ones is pumpy. And makes the sun come out. Doesn't make me want to drink beer like last week, though I could, but the stable beat with little additions every now and then is more to get work done. Or while running, or biking, or doing any other sport that goes great with monotonous rhythms.

The second one is contrast. Meditative. I'm more in the mood for the first one, so I only skipped through it. It does build, but stays in the same range. Feels like standing on a mountain ridge, with clouds around, looking into the sun going down, which it eventually does.

I'm a sucker for fiddle-music, so the last one got me right away. Especially when they evolve into punky stuff, like Dropkick Murphys or Flogging Molly. Made me realize that I never watched the movie, only read the book of the last mohican. Maybe that's something to do for this evening. Anyway, it's a great tune that is always just one tune away from becoming epic, one note away from the Hans Zimmer blast-away, but it never comes. I like that. It stays down to earth, solid, no cheap play of emotions. Well, the pictures do that part anyway.

Thanks for the selection!

All three are from movies and with the images from those movies together with the music they're quite powerful. The second is quite meaningful to me as it was played as my father's coffin was lowered into the ground back in 2020. It's also a very moving track and one I like a lot.

As for the Last of the Mohicans, great movie well acted... I especially like the Madeleine Stowe character in it, the way she carries herself, rises to the challenge. Good movie.

Beautiful photo, I was left breathless.

Cheers, I appreciate it. The photo is the city in which I live.

Weekend and relaxation go together so well :D

I agree, if only the weekend went for 5 days of the week. :)

I love weekends too...
The enjoyment of staying indoor but not the chores😀😀

For sure, enjoyable.

Wow what a beautiful photography shot😍

Indeed - Adelaide, Australia.

Beautiful😍 i will have to do a post of shots around the central coast of NSW

I looked at your post feed and see you're posting the exact thing more than once which is spam posting and not something that'll be taken kindly around here. Post something once and once only. If you post it into a community that's considered posted and it shouldn't be copied and posted elsewhere.

Also, posting so many times a day/hour is not the done thing either.

I’m not meaning to. So what should i be doing? Because i am REALLY confused. How do i post across all communities and my blog? Also why is posting more than once a day not recommended? I’m new and love writing about my day and my products.

Stop posting the same thing more than one single time.

How do i post across all communities and my blog?

When you post something it will go on your post feed and you can choose to "add to your blog". Whether you post in a community or not it's still a post on your post feed (everything posts to your post feed). You cannot post to all communities at the same time, only one.

Also why is posting more than once a day not recommended?

It makes it look like you are farming for rewards. My suggestion would be 7-10 posts a week, no more than 14 and no more than two a day or you'll attract the wrong sort of attention. There's no rule and you can do as you like because you have freedom...but remember that that same freedom extends to others.

I’m new and love writing about my day and my products.

See above.

Thankyou. I have one more question nobody has answered so far…
How do i view, use and convert my LOH tokens from ladies of hive?

I just commented on your post about that. They are worthless shit tokens so just ignore them, no tangible value at all. You'll do better to pick up a coke can off the street and take it to the recycling depot for the five cents they'll give you.

Truly weekends excite us.Where we could have a rest for the loaded days.

For a music lover it helps a lot listening to music.

For sure it does.
