I've run the gamut of Battlestar Galactica toy ships that I have, and I didn't really think it'd be very interesting to lightpaint the really small figures. I have other toys that might prove interesting, but not those ones, so I felt I'd break things up today and try something else: pottery!
Not just any pottery, mind you; my son's pottery. I introduced him to pottery last year and he just loves it. He does not like using a pottery wheel for a number of reasons, but loves to freebuild. Here is a small sampling of some of his work. He has more - much more - some of which I actually use on a daily basis.

One coffee cup, two shot cups, and a tip of a cob of corn.

I do not use the coffee cup (he uses it for juice), but I do use the shot cup on the right (the dark yellow one); he gave that to me last Father's Day. My daughter happened, that same day, to give me a bottle of Glenfiddich. Mmmmmmm. It was a really good match.
